Hey Rick,
You don't know me...my name is Daren Daniels. I'm from Colorado Springs. I was very good friends with Darrell Dillon.
I haven't heard from him in years, and in trying to track him down online, I stumbled across your comment about him on another blog posted in april 2007 (City of Smoking Mirrors). Although I could be wrong, I believe it's probably the same Darrell Dillon I was roommates with in Colorado Springs.
He would be about 44 yrs. old now. He was bipolar and struggled with alcoholism. He had a somewhat stocky build and was about 5'8" tall with strawberry blond hair (hair was thinning).
Darrell would do anything for you and was one of the best friends I ever had. Unfortunatly, he struggled with many demons.
I do hope we know different Darrell Dillons, but they sound like the same. If you would be so kind to email me with any details you have about Darrell.
